As the air becomes crisp, the leaves start to turn and the days grow shorter - we will start to crave coziness, folding into ourselves. Come and join us in our yoga practice as we reflect on what has passed, letting go with each exhale and with each inhale welcoming in the new.
We all know how hard it can be to fit in time for self-care but keep reminding yourself, you can't pour from an empty pitcher. Tell yourself that over and over again. Tell the people who you love that too! Take a deep breath, take a moment every day to be still, try meditating (more about that below), practice a little yoga..

Learning To Meditate
It is no surprise that millions of people are now flocking to mindfulness. Our busy, overstimulated lifestyles can deplete and exhaust us, playing havoc on the nervous system with all sorts of repercussions for our health. The benefits of a regular meditation practice are profound. If you are lucky enough to be joining us on our Pre-Festive Retreat, Meryl will be teaching us to meditate and a really beautiful & accessible way.
Don't be put-off or allow yourself to think that meditation is too complex or difficult to achieve. There are so many tools available that can help you to still your busy mind and allow you to reap the wonderful healing affects that meditation brings. Meditating is a wonderful way relieve stress and anxiety, to improve sleep, happiness, health and focus.
The more you practice the easier it will become. Give it a go and do let me know how you get on :-)
Pose of the month - Supine Spinal Twist
If you've been coming to class you'll know that we always practice this deeply therapeutic pose. Twisting and detoxing the body. Putting it through the rinse cycle. Rinsing out the internal organs, the liver, kidneys and the digestive tract. Using the breath to act as a plunger. Breathe deeply allowing each exhale to be an opportunity to unblock, to release a little more tension from the body and the mind. Great relieving back pain. Yoga working its magic. Come to class and see :-)
