I strongly believe that yoga is for everyone, that the benefits of this ancient practice can be experienced by everybody of any age or fitness.
Hi, I'm Isabelle Sagra the founder of Respira Yoga London.
I first came to yoga 20 years ago finding that yoga brought a sense of clarity and calm to my overworked body and mind and that time spent on the mat gave me the chance to re-connect with my inner-self.
My early training in classical ballet and later immersion in Latin dance has given me an intuitive understanding of the body and movement allowing me to recognize the unique patterns in different bodies. It is this passion for music and dance that allows me to create mindful flowing sequences set to evocative music, that are graceful and focused, moving meditations.
I strongly believe that yoga is for everyone and that the benefits of this ancient practice can be experienced by everybody, of any age or fitness level. I want to share yoga, make it accessible, make it enjoyable and make it an integral part of people's lives as I understand first-hand the power of yoga and how it can bring release, happiness and inner harmony.
Allow me to share my vast experience and love of yoga with you as I accompany you along your own personal yoga journey.
After practicing many different types of yoga all over the world, I completed my 200hr Yoga Alliance accredited Teacher Training under the guidance of the much respected Therapeutic Yoga Specialist Elena Voyce. I received instruction on pranayama, meditation, anatomy and philosophy from seasoned Yogis such as the internationally renowned Swami Saradananda and Krishnaa Devi - one of the only Sanskrit Scholars in the UK.
This was an incredible experience where I gained a huge amount of knowledge and a far deeper understanding of yoga.
I look forward to introducing the rest of the team of excellent and established yoga instructors . Allow us to share our vast experience and love of yoga with you as we accompany you along your own personal yoga journey.
