Brooklands Barn is a beautiful 19th century converted barn in a rural setting, just under 1 mile from the historic center of Arundel, West Sussex, a short walk from the River Arun, with breathtaking views of the Sussex downs. All the rooms at Brooklands Barn are spacious and have been newly refurbished. In each wing of the barn there is a spacious living room where you can unwind and relax in cosy armchairs and plush sofas.
The retreat begins at 4 pm on Friday with time to settle in before the first yoga class at 5.30pm. Dinner will be served at 7.30pm. The retreat ends at 2pm on Sunday after breakfast, a yoga class and then lunch. We will send you the finalised itinerary once you have booked.
Retreat Sample Itinerary:
4pm: Arrivals. Chill out with a cup of herbal tea, snuggle down in your inviting room and meet the group
5.30pm: 1st arrivals Evening Yoga. Gentle, healing yoga to ease you into the weekend
6.30pm: 2nd arrivals Evening Yoga. Gentle, healing yoga to ease you into the weekend
7.30pm: Welcome Feast
9.00pm: Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, a soothing guided meditation, easing you into a deep relaxation to set you up for an incredible night’s sleep
7.30am: Pre-yoga tea/coffee/protein snacks/fruit
8am-10am: Morning Hatha yoga and pranayama (controlled breathing) and relaxation.
10am: Nourishing Breakfast
11am – 5 pm: Free time for walking, exploring, swimming, reading sauna or a massage
2.30pm: Delicious Lunch
5.30pm – 7.30pm: Evening Yin Yoga Immersion - melting into deep, long held stretches bringing deep rest to the mind & nervous system & lasting structural change to the body.
7.30pm: Sumptuous Dinner
9.00pm: A calming & healing Guided Meditation
8.00am: Hearty Breakfast
10am-12pm: Vinyasa Yoga, invigorating and rinsing the whole body, soothing the mind and peeling away and remaining layers of stress. Pranayama and Relaxation
12pm: Yummy Lunch
2pm: Retreat Ends

Fresh, vibrant cuisine prepared by the on-site chef, opting for organic, locally sourced produce where possible. Expect to eat the rainbow! Food is vegetarian but if you have any further dietary requirements, please let us know at time of booking.

Travelling by rail:
Arundel station has direct links from London Victoria and London Bridge (1.5 hours). Arundel station is a 5 minute taxi ride from Brooklands. Castle Cars is located at Arundel Station (01903 884444).
