This beautiful, rustic retreat venue is powered by solar, sustainably sourced wood, community spirit and fresh local foods. Allow the fresh air, yoga, nutritious food and verdant nature to work their magic aiding complete relaxation, detox and creative and spiritual growth.

Rustic & Charming Accommodation
The luxury en-suite rooms combine rustic charm with funky modern twists. Many original features have been maintained and the materials used – wood, stone, clay – as well as the art decorating the walls reflect the myriad of nature that surrounds the buildings. Each bedroom has its own entrance for extra privacy and sit around a courtyard together amongst herbaceous boarders and mosaic paths. The hand made beds hold the highest quality mattresses while underfloor heating and walk-in showers land you in the lap of luxury.

Let Nature Soothe Your Brow
You’ll find every type of tree and shrub indigenous to the UK growing happily on West Lexham's 22 acre estate. The ecology of the floating water meadows has earned the title of ‘Site of Special Scientific Interest’, with the restoration of their rare chalk stream and surrounding wild lands creating an active habitat for biodiversity.

What To Expect
The retreat begins at 5pm on Friday with time to settle in before the first yoga class at 6pm. Dinner will be served at 7.30pm. The retreat ends at 2pm on Sunday when you should leave for home feeling like new! We will send you the finalised itinerary once you have booked.

Retreat Sample Itinerary:
Friday
5pm onwards: Arrivals. Chill out with a cup of herbal tea, snuggle down in your inviting room and meet the group
6pm-7.30pm: Evening Yoga. Gentle, healing yoga to ease you into the weekend
7.30pm: Welcome Feast
9.00pm: Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, a soothing guided meditation, easing you into a deep relaxation to set you up for an incredible night’s sleep
10pm: Bedtime!

Saturday
8am: Pre-yoga tea/coffee/protein snacks/fruit
8.30am-10am: Morning Hatha yoga and pranayama (controlled breathing) and relaxation.
10am: Nourishing Breakfast
11am – 5.30pm: Free time for walking, exploring, reading or a massage
2.30pm: Delicious Lunch
5.30pm: Evening Yin Yoga Immersion - melting into deep, long held stretches bringing deep rest to the mind & nervous system & lasting structural change to the body.
7.30pm: Sumptuous Dinner
9.00pm: A calming & healing Guided Meditation
10pm: Bedtime!

8am: Pre-yoga tea/coffee/granola/fruit
8.30am: Vinyasa Yoga, invigorating and rinsing the whole body, soothing the mind and peeling away any remaining layers of stress. Pranayama and Relaxation
10am - Nourishing Breakfast
11am - 1pm: Free time for walking, exploring, reading or a massage
11.30pm - 1pm: Optional Essential Oils with Yoga & Meditation
1pm: Delicious Lunch
2pm: Retreat Ends

Healthy, Delicious Food
Fresh, vibrant cuisine prepared by the on-site chef. Opting for organic, locally sourced produce where possible, expect to eat the rainbow! Food is plant-based but if you have any further dietary requirements, please let us know at time of booking. Delicious, clean, whole foods inspired by the lush variety of locally sourced ingredients. Every ingredient is meticulously sourced and impeccably prepared to create unique and ever-changing seasonal menus. The food is seasonal with a great emphasis on ayuverdic diet where possible.​

Isabelle Sagra - Respira Yoga London Founder
​
A yoga experience with Isabelle is deeply affecting, soothing, therapeutic and a blissful journey for all of the senses, involving movement, breath, mindfulness and aromatherapy to bring complete surrender. She strongly believes that yoga is for everyone and that the benefits of this ancient practice can be experienced by every body, of any age or fitness level.
Isabelle is passionate about sharing yoga, making it accessible, enjoyable and an integral part of people's lives as she understands first-hand the power of yoga and how it can bring release, happiness and inner harmony.

She first came to yoga over 20 years ago finding that yoga brought a sense of clarity and calm to her overworked body and mind and that time spent on the mat gave her the chance to re-connect with her inner-self.
​
Her early training in classical ballet and later immersion in Latin dance has given her an intuitive understanding of the body and movement allowing her to recognize the unique patterns in different bodies. It is this passion for music and dance that allows Isabelle to create mindful flowing sequences set to evocative music, that are graceful and focused, moving meditations, synchronising breath with movement. Allow Isabelle to share her vast experience and love of yoga with you as she accompanies you along your own personal yoga journey.

Emma Burns - Founder of Me Love Yoga

We are delighted to announce that Emma Burns with be joining us on retreat, bringing her wonderful energy and sharing with us a plethora of techniques for calming the mind and bringing inner peace. Emma teaches alignment-based Hatha yoga with Vinyasa flow, incorporating mindfulness into every class. She teaches for Respira Yoga on Monday evenings in Harrow and also teaches in her beautiful hideaway studio in Stanmore where you can step through the doors to discover peace, calm and tranquility.

Yoga, meditation and mindfulness have been the grounding foundations of Emma's life for over 20 years. Emma lives her yoga and is passionate about sharing it with her students. She runs mindfulness workshops and will be sharing her experience in this area with us on retreat.
